If you turn into a bumpy lane way off the B88 south of Jena and follow it through remote countryside towards Plinz Mill Farm, you may think you'll never arrive; your satnav constantly asking you to perform a U-turn. Ignoring the voice, you're finally rewarded by emerging in the secret world of a fantastically wondrous location around a large half-timbered house with former barns and stables. A colourful array of painted sculptures invites you to tranquil gardens of birds, punks, frogs and
burbling sounds. Here, the artist couple Jochen and Gisa Bach have created their «Distant Sounds, Close Gleaming» installation. And who wants to see more may visit the gallery with painting by Jochen Bach.
